SHAME ON YOU: Kohl's

Sharon shares;
It is with great concern and heartfelt opinion that I must share this incident with you all...Kohl's at 9220 W Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ 85305/91st Ave & Northern
It was brought to my attention on a recent field trip my child attended with a group of other Special Needs children that they were denied entry into this store. How unfortunate and disturbing to hear such sad news. These children were simply working on a project in their Living Skills class and learning about purchases from department stores that day. It is my understanding that they were met by the Assistant Manager at the door informing them they were not allowed into the store. After the group adult leaders explained why they were there, the AM needed to call "Corporate" to ask if it was "okay" to allow them into the establishment. Now you explain to me why that phone call would have been necessary. Were there any phone calls necessary on Black Friday as mobs of people gathered near the doors? Is that call necessary when a group of stay at home mothers or fathers take their children out for a day of shopping? Is that call necessary when the lines are crowded at the registers? You tell me why that call was necessary and then explain to me why they were refused entrance without explanation. Thankfully, once the realization that obviously they were being discriminated against (and folks you know me, I never play that card, ever), the children were removed from the situation and taken to a nearby merchant to continue their planned field trip. My child attends one of the most admirable, outstanding unified schools in this state. The students, faculty & incredibly compassionate teachers have worked diligently to unify Special Needs with "typical" children and IT IS WORKING!!! They take great pride in their students...ALL of their students and I am proud to say my child attends this school. Perhaps this company should take lessons from this school. The dedication and determination of this staff to reach out to society and encourage acceptance and promote a more positive lifestyle for these children is far beyond superior. Imagine the despair and heartbreak when they were approached by Kohl's staff. Kohl's has since made what I believe to be an extremely feeble attempt to rectifiy the situation by offering another, more positive visit...not happening with my child. The entire incident was unfortunate for that group who were needlessly turned away from an experience that was only for educational and life skills purposes, much needed in their lives. It's even more unfortunate for Kohl's that the mother of one of those children present that day has a voice. A loud and proud voice. Now it's personal on so many levels...I will make this post public, I will never shop Kohl's again and perhaps even more media needs to be made aware of said incident....I'm just getting started...

From some of the F&F cast members:

RIP: Fast & Furious Star; Paul Walker

It's being reported by CNN, TMZ, and confirmed by Mr. Walkers camp, that Paul has indeed died in a car crash. The Fast & Furious, one of the more successful action movie series, will never be the same. We give our condolences to Paul Walkers family and friends, I'm sure he was as amazing as a person as he was an actor.

When Life Gives Us Don Lemons...

Well, well, well... Here we go again. As I bask in the after glow of having to defend my Taye Diggs post, whether comments were made on his behalf against black women or not, of course it would be assumed the overall content of my opinion was solely and/or partially generated due to the fact that Taye Diggs is with a white woman. As I laughed wholeheartedly at the idiot that obviously looked at the picture and read the title of the post and decided to form a mediocre opinion based on a minuscule piece of information, I actually gave enough of a f^*k to write a follow up blog post further clarifying my main point. That point is the growing trend amongst black men regarding the blatant disrespect toward black women and moreover our entire race. This isn't to say other races haven't joined in, when and if it ever bothers me ill be sure to write a blog addressing them, however in regards to other races opinions of African Americans, my gaf cup has yet to runneth over, so moving right along.
Now we have this fake Ted Copple, Mr. Don Lemon of CNN jumping aboard the 'black bashing' boat like its the last slave ship available and was lured with promises of Emmys, Grammys and Golden Globe nominations. I no longer have to drive my point home much further, it was so deliciously executed for me via YourBlackWorld.net

wpwpowpswby Dr. Boyce Watkins & Yvette Carnell

Here is a preview to the original article that I agree with 100% NO FILTER!!

LINK TO ORIGINAL POST::

http://www.yourblackworld.net/2013/11/black-news/dr-boyce-yvette-8-reasons-don-lemon-needs-to-be-fired-from-cnn-right-now/

Here’s the deal:  We have a serious problem with Don Lemon.  Not that he was ever all that likeable in the past, but to us, he was just fine as another talking head on TV.   But when he somehow decided to provide impromptu black social commentary, we became saddened and disgusted by the way he used his platform to spread half-truths about the black community. Don might be more equipped to criticize the gay or journalistic communities, but going after black people has become a fashion statement.

First, he started off with his politics of negro respectability, where he seemed to feel that if black people simply learned to behave, we would not be subjected to white racism.  Then, his support for Bill O’Reilly’s argument that black people are primarily the ones responsible for racial disparities sent him further down the rabbit hole of confused and ignorant thinking.  Finally, Don’s defense of the Stop & Frisk program, which has violated the civil rights of thousands of New Yorkers, was the straw that broke the Lemon’s back.

So, let’s be clear – Don Lemon needs to be fired from CNN.  There have been a long line of highly-qualified black journalists removed from the network in recent months, including Soledad O’Brien, Tony Harris, Roland Martin and TJ Holmes, yet the only black person that is regularly featured on the network is the guy who enjoys chopping off the heads of black people with a smile on his face.  Sorry, but we just won’t stand for it.   In fact, we keep wondering why the guy responsible for providing the news is giving his personal opinions on such a regular basis.

Commentary: To My Brothers

I am sitting up and it's 12:32am. Why? I have no idea. Well, that's not entirely the truth. I know why. It is because this whole Taye Diggs thing is really getting to me. I mean, be it true or false, who knows we weren't there, I'm thinking on a broader scale. It is becoming the norm for me to see black men tweet, post, IG, and for the most part, say they prefer other races of women over African American women. Is this really fair? Can you condemn an entire race of women based upon a few bad apples in the bunch? Ok so lets take a look into the stereotypical black female, she's loud, uneducated, she wears a bad weave, she's ghetto, she has a bunch of kids and don't know who the father is, and is on government assistance and/or welfare. Well, I just described a lot of women across a vast number of races. I believe there are a lot of factors concerning the behaviors of every female individually, from household composition to upbringing. And excuse me for being candid but, who the f*•k are you dating? To say that one behavior is classified to a specific gender and race is kind of ridiculous in this day and age. I'm not saying that having a preference is wrong, but tell me this guys, how would you feel if you kept hearing black women say things like, "we don't want to deal with black men because they don't take care of their children, they're cheaters, they're all thugs with multiple baby mommas and as many convictions." That would make us look and sound like fools. Now while some of this is true regarding the former and latter behaviors, I must point out that I just described some men and women in GENERAL, regardless of race! If you don't like this personality or that characteristic, then be true to your nature. If you only like white girls with blue tattoos, or Puerto Rican girls with wild curly hair, even if you would love nothing more than a black girl with some full lips and a kinky twist, feel free to let the world know. But you don't have to uplift your preference while putting down what isn't, especially if in doing so you look and sound like a fool.

Kerry Schwartz Blasts Jojo Simmons

Well I guess everyone isn't into letting 'rappers' tap that ass in order to get a contract, and no shade, but if it isn't coming from Russell, I really don't see the point. Jojo Simmons, son of the Rev Run himself, (and apparently Diggy's brother ::shrugs::) according to LateNightCreep.com and a post by Ms. Schwartz herself, is definitely (allegedly) into propositioning Hawt chicks in return for that contract! Apparently Jojo sold Ms. Schwartz dreams for about two weeks before the other shoe dropped in the form of him telling her she needs to be proven 'freak' worthy. He may as well asked her what that mouth do! Lawd, Jojo have several seats! Of course his camp says it wasn't him I.e the infamous 'I've been hacked' or as I like to call it, he pulled a Gucci Mane...

SHOULD BLACK WOMEN SUPPORT BLACK MEN THAT DONT SUPPORT US?

I have been doing a little catching up on our guy Taye Diggs. Personally, well not personally because I WAS only a fan, ill say opinionated-ly, I am definitely not liking what I am reading. It seems Mr. Diggs isn't really 'digging' and has been 'dogging' the sistahs. Considering his career consists of movies that are made box office hits by black women and gay men one would think Taye had a little more love for his racial counterparts. Taye has been quoted (or misquoted as he says) saying some things that may make me throw movies he will star in on the 'get it bootleg' list.
According to CreamBMP.com (http://creambmp.com/articles/taye-diggs-best-man-black-women-miss-wife/)
(Less than credible site)

Mr. Diggs allegedly had this to say in regards to sharing a set with black women for the Best Man Holiday movie:

“Let’s just say its not a stereotype that black women are less submissive and harder to deal with. Being around all them black women made me really miss my wife” Stumbling out of a New York bar fresh off a world wind press tour in Los Angeles with wife Idina Menzel in tow Taye spoke briefly on the cast and breakaway success of ‘The Best Man Holiday’. Somebody will be upset and say i got rich and deserted my female people; No offense, but the only black woman I ever loved is my mama. – Taye Diggs

Whether this is true or not, and Taye Diggs aside, why do we as black women keep supporting black men that obviously do not support us? I am not saying TD can't marry who he wants because obviously this will turn into my opinion being based on him being married to a white woman instead of the point of view I so clearly pointed out, that's none of my concern. His wife could be fudge rippled for all I care, but because you choose fudge rippled does not make it better than chocolate, its just your personal preference. I will never spend a dime on anything Mr. Diggs is associated with as well as anyone else that openly opposes black women. I hope more of us will do the same.

Lamar Odom: Crack Rap Video

Well, the judges have deliberated, all evidence viewed, and oh, did I forget to mention the drug induced video that we have now dubbed exhibit A? I was rooting for Lamar Odom, I was banking on some serious conspiracy on the part of Kris Jenner's messy ass, because we all know she runs her ship like a columbian drug madam. So now we have a video surfacing of Lamar Odom and his 'friend' (whom I believed got paid handsomely by TMZ), on video rapping about drug use and cheating on Khloe Kardashian. Lawd have mercy! As if she wasn't embarrassed enough...

Reality Check!

The words that will follow are not my own. With that being said, I do however agree to some extent with the overall message. This one is for the ladies...

REALITY CHECK:
https://m.facebook.com/ReecesReality?__user=100002538452875

Time to put it all on the table so put your feeling away.

The problem with a lot of black men are their mothers.

I said it and I'm going to say it again.

The problem with a lot of black men are their MOTHERS!

I can talk about this, I have a son.

Why? You ask.

Well, a lot of black mothers don't see their sons as their sons, they see them as their boyfriends.

See, what people don't realize is that children watch everything, that's were every behavior is learnt.

But when you have a women with unresolved male issues raising a boy or boys, she wants them to grow up like anything besides that no good man from her past. But mama has issues with men she hasn't been able to work out so she molds that boy into the same man she doesn't want him to like because subconsciously that the kind of man mama wants.

I mean, there are several variations but here are the most common males that come out of relationships with their mothers.

(Or grandmothers. To many mothers have raised their children, their grandchild and in some cases, great grand children. Give these women a break. Please)

The hyper-masculine type:

The exaggeration of male stereotypical behavior, such as an emphasis on physical strength, aggression, and sexuality. This term can be pejorative, though it is also used when examining the behavior (as adaptive or maladaptive) dispassionately.

The thugs, gang banger, dough boys, trap boys, the loud boys, the "I ain't scared of death boys", the "real shit, I'm about that Iife boys", the "I'll pop you boys" and the famous "I don't give a fuck" boys.
See what the mothers did in these situations was tell there sons that they'll grow up to be nothing but a carbon copy of the father. Spineless, weak and unmanly.

They grow up wanting to show mama how much of a man they can be.

The Effeminate type:

This is were a woman goal with her son-boyfriend is to shelter and show him harsh realities at the same time.

The baby-mama-girlfriend showers the boys in gifts and luxuries to compensate for what the absent father hasn't. She makes sure his sneakers are never scoffed, his hands well moisturized and the best of the best from labels to ice-cream, mamas little baby gets it all.
Now, I'm not saying that parents shouldn't buy there kids nice things, but when your little son-boyfriend is bad as all hell, can't read or write in the fourth grade, you aren't truly caring for your son, you're making him dependent on YOU!

See, the problem here is, you don't want your son to go without a thing because had his father stepped up, your son wouldn't be so sad and distraught to need all the thing to keep him happy.
Stop it! You role is to nurture and provide and equip him with the knowledge that he needs and if you can't, find someone who will.

These boys usually grow up as the, I need a fresh lay type, the whining, she just wants my money type, the need to make sure mama is taken care of first type cause you know she worked hard and it's time to pay her back type. The " are my underwear and my socks matching types, the straight-tight leg wearing, are those jeans from baby gap type of guys.
The "mama said its okay to live at home until my late thirties type. And their mother will fight you hand and foot over these boys. Stay clear ladies.

Then we have the care-takers

This is a group I feel really bad for. These mothers commit some of the worst atrocities towards there sons.
They cry
They moan
They faint
These mothers need there sons to know how bad they hurt so the sons can one day fix the situations mama put herself and baby in.
This son wipes every tear, works hard, always does what right, always thinking of how mother is going to feel.
You are tearing these boys apart. They will grow up to be successful and well mannered but deep inside they're doing nothing but trying to fill that void in the mothers hurt. Your children are not responsible for your mistakes ladies nor are they responsible for taking of your ass once they're grown.

Raise MEN.
Mother, nurture, knowledge, that's what you pass on, not you baggage.

Now, I do have one last type of son and he's born of the ratchet mother.
He will be total destruction.

Ratchet mothers, if its to late for an abortion, seek adoption. If you aren't pregnant, seek planned parent hood. If you can't find the number..... Jump.

Heir Majesty.

Ashley Reid (Pebbles Reid's Daughter) Releases Statement

I woke up this morning and checked my email first thing, which is what I usually do, and a email from the publicist of Pebbles Reid caught my attention. I was pleasantly surprised to see a statement released by none other than Ashley Reid, Pebbles' daughter. Now, I don't know what she knows or has to do with the situation other than being extremely ratchet on twitter and threatening 'Chilli' of TLC, and doing radio interviews in the hopes of clearing Pebbles' name. Let me begin by saying that I believe Pebbles has the God given right to try and clear her name. As for her daughter, in the words of Mr. Shawn Carter, I don't believe you you need more people!

ASHLEY REID
RESPONSE TO PERRI REID CONTROVERSY

page1image1544

Being tactlessly defensive is a choice, and may not be the most effective. It was my choice. Violence is not what I represent. For those that know me, either personally, through my weekly radio talk show, or my art- they know that I am a passionate person with no filter, that what I said, was in anger.

In anger, many things are said out of intense emotion. The same applies to a desperate attempt to threaten credibility, defame, and villainies someone’s character in order to generate publicity. That was TLC’s choice. My voice is my own and is not reflective of my mother’s opinion. Despite the lies and slander depicted in the movie and over the past 20 years, my mother loves TLC and always has.

Under no circumstances will I ever apologize for defending the people I love and what I know is right.........

Ok so some serious damage control is being done on behalf of the Reid team. From what I understand Pebbles has lawyered up and is suing Chilli, but for what!? As I stated in my previous blog, how could TLC be virtually broke when they pushed so many units? How can someone be sued over their personal perception of how a situation unfolded? I know if I pushed millions of units and my manager is pushing a new Benz and hands me the keys to a Honda Accord, something is terribly wrong. Anyone with half a mind knows that Tboz and Chilli were not the only ones interviewed to generate this movie. The movie did depict Pebbles in a really bad light that may be hard to bounce back from. There are rumors circulating that Chilli had an affair with L.A. Reid, which is so irrelevant to the situation at hand. The only way Pebbles can clear her name at this point is to prove with tangible documents that TLC had in fact, been paid for all of their hard work. Yes, we wish to see the contract in question as well! We want to see cashed checks, ledgers, and financial statements that shows that TLC had been treated fairly. Until then, the industry and the world will believe Pebbles is the person the CrazySexyCool movie said she was.

First Lady Michelle Obama rips Kanye West apart

The link to the actual article below.

OUR FIRST LADY MICHELLE OBAMA READS KANYE WEST TO THE GODS!!!!

Dear Kanye,

Hi, it's Michelle. Michelle Obama, Barack's wife. Barack Obama, the President of the United States of America.

That makes me the First Lady of the United States of America. Me = Michelle Obama.

I hope all is well.

You know, Kanye, I woke up this morning. In the White House. And one of my aides told me she had something to show me. Something that would make me laugh. A "cute" thing, if you will.

It was a series of quotes, Kanye. About my husband and me. About my Vogue magazine cover. And fashion. And classism.

They were your quotes. You were the cute thing, Kanye. And my aide was right. It did make me laugh. Oh, what a hearty White House laugh it was.

Keep my name out your mouth, ya heard.

Tell me, Kanye, what's your goal with this? Why us? Are you still mad about my husband calling you a jackass a few times? Is that why you're focusing on me instead of on all the other women who have been on the cover of Vogue?

That's what this is all about, isn't it? You're out here all mad simply because we're stylin' on you? I know Barack never did apologize for the name-calling, because you know how you men are with your stubbornness.

But it's more than that. It's bigger than fashion. To you, this has become a couple vs. couple thing.

I once overheard some of our summer interns talking about you — about how mad you get when you're compared to other rappers, because your peers are Jesus and Jobs and Walt Disney. I heard it and actually respected that. It shows you have some drive to be a great man. You should fight to get your respect. I see my husband, the President of the Free World, get disrespected every day. And it tears me apart.

So you have to understand where I'm coming from when I say it's laughable for my 21-year marriage to be mentioned on the same website as your thing with Kim.

Imagine if someone compared you to Papoose, Kanye. Well, you're Barack's Papoose. And yes, Kim is my Remy Ma.

My husband's not moving our family out the country so you can't see where we stay. Because he runs the country, you see.

And, again, we live in the White House. Very visible.

Look, Kanye, I'm a fan. You had me the second you brought along Uncle Charlie Wilson, and there's no turning back. I don't think you're crazy at all, and in fact fully think you're saying things that other people are scared to articulate. And, of course, Chicago will always bring us together.

Knowing that, never think that I'm not from Chicago for one second. Barack may be from Hawaii, but I will always be from that 312.

As a woman who loves fashion but never sought to be an iconic figure of some sort, I understand where you're coming from. And your frustrations. You're both deeply embedded in fashion, you and Kim, and daring to match, with the man skirts and silly string bikinis. I hear you even have a little pop-up store next to hers that sells nice Confederate flags.

And there's me, a semi-conservative dresser with my fashion not at the center of my life, and somehow I still ended up on the Vogue cover. And, to make matters worse, I didn't even ask.

They came to me. And get this, I actually had to think about it.

But next time, Kanye, if we can agree to squash this, I will decline and tell them to ask Kim. Will that make you happy? Will that end classism? Will the inclusion of your born-rich future wife break down the walls that my trailblazing old-ladyness seeks to build up? Just let me know.

Because, at the end of the day, who really needs to be on the cover of Vogue for a third time?

In the meantime, there's always Terry Richardson.

Jackass.

Send my love to Kim and baby Nori.

—Michelle

Perri Reid aka 'Pebbles' of the TLC movie: CrazySexyCool

Ok we all have seen the TLC movie entitled, CrazySexyCool after their successful debut album. The movie really did not depict their manager, 'Pebbles' in the best light. In fact, it made her out to be a gold digging thief, if you want to be 100% real. Being the person I am, you know I reached out to Pebbles as soon as the movie aired because I, as well as a lot of other people, are wondering how TLC could have been virtually broke when they were pushing so many units? This is the response that I have received thus far:

Statement from Perri Reid pka Pebbles Regarding CRAZYSEXYCOOL: THE TLC STORY

"First I want to thank all of you for the well wishes and prayers. I apologize for the delay in responding to the movie, but I wanted to gather my thoughts. I have always been a private person and this unprovoked attack has been extremely upsetting to me and my family. I have needed time to spend with my family and for personal reflection.

The movie contains many false and defamatory statements and scenes about me. Please know that I have never cheated or mislead anyone. I will defend my reputation, accomplishments, and character. My attorney is in the process of demanding a retraction of the false and defamatory statements and scenes about me from VH1.

My silence has empowered individuals looking for a payday at my expense. I have held my peace for 20 years and it’s time the truth comes out. I will be sharing my story in the appropriate venue at the appropriate time. With all my heart I thank you for your faithful support.

I am extremely proud of the success and massive accomplishments of TLCthe group I discovered, managed, and mentored. I helped push open doors for TLC and other women in this male dominated industry. My sacrifices ultimately opened the door for not only a new wave of female performers in this industry but also a new generation of female executives. That backdrop makes the movie extremely personally upsetting to me."

''Pebbles' was unavailable for an interview but released this statement, if it is untrue I would hate to be whoever green-lit the movie, (I doubt it.) I guess Pebbles will be left to rebuild her credibility in the industry because once something like this surfaces it will be extremely hard to get people to trust and/or work with you.

RAW TALENT: Anessa Sher'ee

The funniest thing I find about this performer is that I believe she has never even thought of pursuing a music career, we all know those people are usually the most successful. I met this young lady through social networks, Second Life and Facebook. As a matter of fact she is part of an earlier blog I wrote titled, A Virtual World of Business and Marketing, in world she goes by the name Daisy Montana Gatz. This blog post is long over due, she has the voice that needs no auto tune and with every word she sings you can clearly hear each and every note. She is equally beautiful and talented and yes, I debo'd her for an interview because everyday her talent is unknown to the world is, simply put: a damn shame! She is EXTREMELY marketable and already has somewhat of a following. If Britney can sell millions of music units, I believe Anessa can sell BILLIONS! She is always so humble and honestly she is one of the sweetest people I have met in a really log time. When (not if) she releases a debut album, I am hoping she follows in the footsteps of Mariah and includes a compilation of ballads because she has the vocal range that artists use machines to create. Get to know Anessa and you will love her as much as I do, hit her YouTube channel and you will become an instant fan! She covers songs released by other artists and they instantly become her own.
(Interview)

HS: Where are you from and how old are you?

A.S: Born & Raised in California! and i am 24 years old!

HS: When did you discover that you could sing?

A.S: honestly have no idea, as far as my memories go back I have always been in love with singing! My family tells me that i have been singing since i could talk!

HS: Do you have any formal vocal training?

A.S: I have absolutely No vocal training what so ever! I think the way I may have learned to sing is because I love to imitate people! On my dads side of the family EVERYONE knows how to sing, SO of course I used to run around copying them, and then eventually started to copy singers! Singing lessons are something that I definitely want to invest in, in the future!

HS: Do you see yourself releasing a debut album, even if only an LP of a few ballads?

A.S: I actually have never really thought about it before, singing is just something that I originally did for me, and then it turned into my friends wanting me to sing on their songs, to teachers singing me up for musicals at school, and now friends requesting videos! I would be open to the idea though!

HS: Have you thought of pursuing a career in music?

When I was a kid, If anyone asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, Iv'e always said that I was going to be a singer! Even though I have accumulated different interests as an adult, Singing will always be my first love!

HS: Do you have, or are looking for management or a label at this time?

A.S: I currently do not have management or a label, and I am not looking for anything, but instead embracing what comes.

HS: Have you ever thought of auditioning for talent shows like XFactor or American Idol?

A.S: Yes! In school i sang in a few talent shows, and musicals, and I thought about auditioning for American Idol once, I had a friend who's father was willing to pay for my audition, but then i seen Simon Cowell rip someone apart and changed my mind! lol cuz ain't nobody got time for that!

HS: What gives you inspiration when you are singing? And if you could collaborate with a signed artist who would it be and why?

A.S: What has always inspired me to sing, is the way that i feel when i sing. It's the only way I feel comfortable to express the way I'm feeling. It's how I can get people to relate. You can't really describe your joy or pain, but you can make other people feel it & see it by the way that you sing. It's definitely therapeutic for me.
If I could collaborate with any signed artist, It would be Mr. Benjamin Andre (Andre 3000) that man is perfection & knows how to reach every part of me musically.  I also feel the same way about frank ocean, He's amazing.

HS: Do you have any songs that you have written yourself?

HS: I'm actually humiliated to say this, but I have only actually written one song in my life, and it was when I was in the 8th grade, and it was about Drake. LOL, I was definitely delusional back in those days! lol. I do actually write a lot of poems though

HS: Tell readers something about you that they could not read anywhere else

.A.S: I'm extremely strange! lol I have a mind that only God himself can understand!

The Real R. Kelly!?

Lawd, you know money is tight when concert and party promoters are starting to straight rip people off! Apparently R. Kelly was supposed to perform for a special concert promoted by a Cedric Johnson and was a bust due to a fake Kelly being produced! Fans are outraged and are calling for refunds. Tickets were being sold through ticket master. How could something like this happen!? Did Mr. Johnson lie about having Kelly for the concert or did he renege on a verbal/written agreement? Anyway, if I was there I would have thrown a chair Da Boondocks style and started a damn riot.  (Hahaha.. Joking). Are promoters that hard up for money that they are just ripping people off? Who knows, I  sure in the future people will be watching Facebook and Twitter, if the verified account doesn't co-sign the 'event', I damn sure am not buying a ticket!
